The Resource Center

Last Week the Resource Center Staff and Director went out into our local community to Distribute Backpacks to those temporarily without shelter.  It was so heartwarming and inspiring to be able to give HELP and HOPE to those who are in desperate situations. The Pandemic and The Depressed Economy has placed a greater demand on scarce available resources for this population that resides in all our communities.  At one location, we ran out of packs and people were still lining up in need of help.  We all agreed that it was mandatory to continually donate our own resources, raise funds to supplement our own donations, and continue to make and deliver these packs to every individual in need.

Such a surprise to feel the love and gratitude expressed by those who received backpacks in this second distribution phase. Such heartbreak to see our community friends and neighbors in such need in Georgia! But such a great project can truly give hope and needed resources!

 

Please find it in your heart to give to The Resource Center for continuing distribution BEFORE WINTER COMES, so that we may equip deserving people, experiencing dire situations, right in our own communities. With YOUR DONATIONS, The Backpack Program can become a permanent year-round Program!

The Very Sturdy Backpack includes: Blankets, Knitted Cap, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Masks, Lotion, Wipes, Deodorant, Sanitary Napkins (Women) and other seasonal needs. Please find it in your heart to GIVE to help our neighbors in this time of scarce resources.
